Das heute verfallene und den Elementen \u00fcberlassene Bauwerk wurde zur Verteidigung der Nordostk\u00fcste des Golfo Aranci errichtet und war w\u00e4hrend der beiden Weltkriege von strategischer Bedeutung.
\nObwohl das Bauwerk Anzeichen von Alterung und Erosion aufweist, kann man noch immer den zahnradgetriebenen Drehturm bewundern, in dem der Entfernungsmesser f\u00fcr die Zielerfassung montiert war, sowie die Stellungen der vier gro\u00dfkalibrigen Kanonen, die auf den \u00fcber die Klippe ragenden Plattformen
\nmit Blick auf den Horizont montiert waren.<\/p>\n
