Die Korkeiche, das Wahrzeichen der Gallura, ist eine grundlegende Ressource mit vielf\u00e4ltigen Verwendungsm\u00f6glichkeiten. Bereits in der Nuraghenzeit f\u00fcr seine isolierenden Eigenschaften bekannt, wird Kork vor allem f\u00fcr die Herstellung von Korken verwendet, aber auch f\u00fcr die Herstellung von Ger\u00e4tschaften, Gegenst\u00e4nden und typischen Beh\u00e4ltern sowie von Tabletts zum Servieren einheimischer Produkte. Als f\u00fchrendes Zentrum f\u00fcr die Korkverarbeitung<\/strong> und<\/strong> die industrielle Herstellung von Korken beherbergt Calangianus<\/a> das Korkmuseum<\/a>, in dem die Phasen der Gewinnung und Verarbeitung sowie die allt\u00e4glichen Werkzeuge der Gallura zu sehen sind. Kork, der mit R\u00fccksicht auf die Natur verarbeitet wird, ist heute auch auf Kunsthandwerksm\u00e4rkten zu finden, die neben den typischen Gegenst\u00e4nden auch originelle Alternativen wie traditionellen Schmuck und handgefertigte Einrichtungsgegenst\u00e4nde anbieten – perfekte Ideen f\u00fcr alternative Souvenirs. Da es sich um ein \u00f6kologisch nachhaltiges, sehr elastisches, feuerfestes und wasserdichtes Material handelt, hatten einige sardische Designer die Idee, Kork in einen edlen Stoff zu verwandeln, mit dem sie originelle und kostbare Kreationen der Haute Couture geschaffen haben. Die Bearbeitung von Granit<\/strong>, einer weiteren wichtigen Ressource in der Gallura, geh\u00f6rt zu den \u00e4ltesten Formen des Handwerks in der Region.
