Ein typisches Bauerndorf, das von Land- und Viehwirtschaft lebt, einst eine logudoresisch Enklave in Gallura und die kleinste Gemeinde im Nordosten der Insel. Es beherbergt das Mineralogische Museum, in dem 800 Mineralien ausgestellt sind, die 250 Arten repr\u00e4sentieren und haupts\u00e4chlich aus dem Gemeindegebiet, aber auch aus anderen Gegenden Sardiniens stammen. Die Wirtschaft konzentriert sich vor allem auf die Landwirtschaft, insbesondere den Weinbau: Hier wird der Vermentino di Gallura hergestellt. Neben der Landwirtschaft gibt es Viehzucht, Handwerk, Forstwirtschaft und Unterk\u00fcnfte f\u00fcr einen Urlaub auf dem Land.<\/p>\n
