FORMET MONTI-TEMPIO RALLWAY

The Monti-Calangianus railway was originally part of a longer line connecting the main towns of Gallura’s hinterland, and it even reached Tempio Pausania. Over time, however, it became a short independent segment with very limited importance for freight transport only: this is due to the route itself, which served a virtually uninhabited territory, surrounded by the amazing landscapes of the eastern slope of Mount Limbara.

It is an old railway in Gallura
