The church of San Pietro Apostolo dates back to the Middle Ages. It is the main Catholic place of worship of Tempio Pausania and is located in the square of the same name in the town centre. It is an architectural complex of great importance, both for its age and the huge amount of granite employed to build it. Visitors feel in awe of this incredible building. Together, the cathedral, the Rosario oratory, and the thirteenth-century church of Santa Croce form the town’s main place of worship.
