SU MONTE ‘E S’APE GIANTS’ TOMB

With its remarkable 28-metre length and 6-metre width, this tomb is a typical monument of the Nuragic era and became an archaeological site in 1968. It was probably built in two different stages: the chamber, or corridor, presumably dates back to the Early Bronze Age, whereas the exedra and the transformation into giants’ tomb seem to date back to the Middle Bronze Age.

It is the longest tomb in Sardinia.
