The Carbonai track twists and turns for about 2.5 kilometres in a succession of climbs and descents along Monte Ruju, overlooking the sea. With a walking time of about one hour and fifteen minutes, this trail features some pretty challenging tracts which enable tourists to admire highly evocative views: from Costa Smeralda to the island of Mortorio – an enchanting oasis in the archipelago of La Maddalena – to the Corsican mountains on the clearest days. Taking the connection with the Monte Ruju track, you can reach the panoramic viewpoint overlooking Golfo Aranci, whereas proceeding toward the Su Canale track, you will reach Cala Moresca with its golden sand and emerald-green water.
