The site of Community importance of Capo Figari and Isola Figarolo, located in the territory of Golfo Aranci, safeguards natural heritage assets of great value and is perfect for scuba diving. The rocky promontory of Capo Figari, subject to karst erosion, is rich in caves where animal fossils were discovered and also hosts a community of mouflons and several marine birds. It is also particularly relevant for its fauna, which includes rare and endemic species of paramount importance for biodiversity protection. The beach of Cala Sabina is of particular interest, too. It is characterised by white sand and shallow, emerald waters, and it is the ideal starting point for scuba diving, excursions, and nature paths.
