La Maddalena Archipelago National Park offers an enchanting landscape thanks to its crystal-clear waters and natural coves with some of the world’s most famous beaches, including Cavaliere Beach and Budelli Island’s Pink Beach and Caprera’s Wreck Beach. The park, which covers about 180 kilometers of coastline, protects more than 700 plant species, including more than 50 endemic species that account for a quarter of Sardinia’s total. The fauna present includes reptiles (such as sea turtles), migratory birds and large mammals, including minke whales, sperm whales and dolphins.
