TOWER OF VIGNOLA

The tower of Vignola, near the town of Vignola Mare, is part of the coast protection system championed by the Spanish. This 12-metre-high building, in the shape of a truncated cone, rises on a granite rock formation at around 25 metres above sea level. From its privileged position, you can enjoy a broad view encompassing clear bodies of water in the area of Aglientu until the Corsican coastline overlooking the Strait of Bonifacio. The tower of Vignola also gives name to the beach of La Turra, which lies close by.

Surrounded by a fascinating landscape, it offers inspiring panoramic views.
