Tempio Pausania<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 which, together with Olbia<\/a>, is the administrative centre of the region of Olbia Tempio<\/a> \u2013 is well-known for its carnival, granite and cork manufacturing and carving, and its wines, mainly Moscato, Vermentino, and Karana<\/a>. It is also an ideal starting point for excursions at the discovery of Monte Limbara (\u2018Mount Limbara\u2019), which offers an extremely diversified landscape embracing the countryside, vineyards, woods, and the sea. Over time, its granitic rocks have been shaped by erosion into unusual and peculiar forms. One of the possible paths is the one leading to the Punta Balistreri<\/strong><\/a> peak, named after a fugitive who successfully hid there.<\/p>\n
