Five kilometres from the residential area of Oschiri, climbing the hill where the small Romanic church is located, you will be able to experience the history of the 11th and 12th centuries when the cathedral was built. The territory of Oschiri offers small but significant churches, both for their style and the building technique employed. The cathedral of Nostra Signora di Castro is part of these churches, and it is also the most elaborate one.
\nThis single-nave building served as a cathedral and features an apse at the northeastern end as well as a colonnade on the northern side, built at a later stage. This Romanic church is surrounded by an extraordinary landscape, where this monument and nature are closely intertwined.<\/p>\n
