Punta Balistreri<\/strong>, at around 1,360 metres above sea level, is the highest peak of Mount Limbara<\/a> and is named after a fugitive who \u2013 according to popular tradition \u2013 took shelter here to escape his pursuers. To reach it, you must choose the path starting from the small church of Madonna delle Nevi<\/strong>: after a pretty simple initial stretch, it winds through the typical rocks of this region, whose unusual forms have been shaped by the wind. Once on top, Punta Balistreri offers a wide and diversified view of the surrounding nature, which is well worth the effort.<\/p>\n
