The lighthouse of Punta Sardegna<\/strong>, fully operational since 1913 and automated in 1975, is named after the rocky promontory where it rises. Together with the lighthouses of Capo d\u2019Orso<\/a> and Porto Faro<\/a>, it is one of the three lighthouses in the territory of Palau. This two-storey building with a light on top overlooks the archipelago of La Maddalena and offers an amazing view of the surrounding sea and granitic rocks.<\/p>\n
