Gallura is rich in scenic roads<\/strong> which offer a chance to savour the utmost beauty of the whole Sardinian region. Driving along Settentrionale Sarda<\/strong> (SS 127) from Olbia<\/a> to Tempio, you can explore Gallura\u2019s hinterland toward Mount Limbara, including the area of Calangianus<\/a>, well-known for Vermentino and cork manufacturing. After this first upward segment, the second tract is surrounded by hills and slopes gently toward Tempio Pausania<\/a>. The old Orientale Sarda<\/strong> (SS 125) is the oldest road in eastern Sardinia: from Cagliari to Palau<\/a>, this road rich in thrilling curves passes by some of the most appealing beaches of the region. The coastal road from Palau to Cannigione<\/strong>, too, offers extraordinary sceneries: you should definitely not miss the so-called Piscine di Cannigione<\/strong>, with white sand and crystal-clear water. This fascinating beach, surrounded by nature, can be reached by way of a short path and is also suitable for families.<\/p>\n
