Whether along the coastline or in the hinterland, Gallura offers trails of various levels of difficulty, to be tackled on your own or with an experienced guide, all of them surrounded by nature.
\nOne of the most appealing trails is the path from Santa Teresa Gallura<\/a> to the promontory of the lighthouse of Capo Testa<\/a>, an extraordinary panoramic viewpoint exuding a romantic atmosphere. Another walking tour is the Cammino di Santu Jacu<\/strong>, the way leading to Saint James\u2019 places of worship throughout Sardinia. In Gallura, this itinerary goes from Porto Torres to Olbia<\/a> for about 240 kilometres and includes ten stops to explore the hinterland. It is pretty challenging in the central tract in the mountains and enables walkers to experience first-hand one of the most important values of the Sardinian tradition: hospitality is sacrosanct for the local population, who welcomes pilgrims and gives them a chance to delve into Gallura\u2019s culture, history, and local products.<\/a><\/p>\n
