Throughout the centuries, similarly to Sardinia, Monti underwent several invasions, some from the sea, and some from other subregions of the island. Crasta Castle stands on a hill at 490 metres above sea level, three kilometres southwards from Monti. Located in a strategic position, it overlooked the so-called \u2018corridor or pass of Monti\u2019 and protected the communication routes between the coast and the hinterland as part of the defence network of the Judicates of Torres and Gallura.
\nWalking along the gorgeous surrounding paths overlooked by fascinating granitic rocks, you can admire waterfalls in a cool and shady environment perfect to indulge in some relaxation.<\/p>\n
