This small town features a mineralogical museum, prehistoric relics, ancient places of worship, and good wine.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>[vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

This typical rural village, once Logudoro\u2019s enclave in Gallura, is the smallest town in the northeastern part of the island. The mineralogical museum displays 800 mineral samples, which account for 250 species and come chiefly from the area around the town and other Sardinian territories. The local economy is mainly based on farming, especially viticulture: Vermentino di Gallura is produced here. Livestock farming, craftsmanship, forestry, and rural hospitality all revolve around agriculture.<\/p>\n

Located in the area of Olbia-Tempio, in the historic region of Gallura, it is inhabited by a low number of residents. Precisely for this reason, it offers excellent stays immersed in a serene and calm atmosphere that enables visitors to appreciate local wonders. We suggest discovering the village by walking around the old town, where you will have the chance to meet the residents and have them show you the wonders of the area. In the square, a panoramic viewpoint overlooks vivid green mountains: here, you can stop for hours to contemplate the beauty of nature and enjoy treks or bike tours. This is the other side of Gallura, the authentic hinterland, just as fascinating as the coast!<\/p>\n
