The Palace of Baldu, which belonged to the Visconti family, is situated in Santu Stevanu, in the area of Luogosanto, which was part of the Judicate of Gallura in the Middle Ages. It encompasses a more than 10-metre-high quadrangular tower that ensured good visibility of the surrounding area and a wide pentagonal yard, overlooked by 17 spaces with living and working purposes. It was an important hub for the administration of the territory, and it probably housed the institutions of the Judicate of Gallura.<\/p>\n
