Conocido ya en la \u00e9poca nur\u00e1gica por sus propiedades aislantes, el corcho se utiliza principalmente para la producci\u00f3n de tapones, pero tambi\u00e9n para la fabricaci\u00f3n de utensilios, objetos y recipientes t\u00edpicos, as\u00ed como bandejas para servir los productos locales. Centro de excelencia de la transformaci\u00f3n del corcho y de la producci\u00f3n industrial de tapones, Calangianus alberga el <strong>Museo del Corcho<\/strong>, dedicado a las fases de extracci\u00f3n y transformaci\u00f3n y a las herramientas de Gallura de uso cotidiano. El corcho, que se procesa respetando plenamente la naturaleza, est\u00e1 ahora tambi\u00e9n presente en los mercados artesanales que, adem\u00e1s de objetos t\u00edpicos, ofrecen alternativas originales como joyas tradicionales y accesorios de decoraci\u00f3n hechos a mano, ideas perfectas para souvenirs alternativos.<br \/>\nAl ser un material ecosostenible, muy el\u00e1stico, ign\u00edfugo e impermeable, algunos dise\u00f1adores sardos tuvieron la intuici\u00f3n de transformar el corcho en un tejido noble gracias al cual pudieron crear originales y valiosas creaciones de verdadera alta costura.<br \/>\nEl trabajo del granito, otro recurso esencial en Gallura, es una de las formas artesanales m\u00e1s antiguas de la regi\u00f3n. La abundancia de canteras se corresponde con la gran variedad de tipos de granito, que difieren seg\u00fan la zona: del granito rosa al granito gris perla, t\u00edpico de las canteras de <strong>Buddus\u00f2<\/strong>. Esta \u00faltima es un centro de excelencia para la transformaci\u00f3n del granito, junto con Tempio Pausania, la \u00abciudad del granito\u00bb, rica en obras maestras arquitect\u00f3nicas
