La Maddalena Archipelago National Park offers a fascinating landscape thanks to its crystal-clear waters and natural coves. Here, you can find some of the most famous beaches in the world, including Spiaggia del Cavaliere as well as the Pink Beach of Budelli Island and Caprera’s Spiaggia del relitto. The park, encompassing about 180 kilometres of coast, protects over 700 plant species, including more than 50 endemic ones which account for a quarter of the total present in Sardinia. The local fauna consists of reptiles (such as sea turtles), migratory birds, and large mammals, including fin whales, sperm whales, and dolphins.
