The territory of Luogosanto is particularly suitable for the manufacturing of cork, a product typical of Sardinia. In the area of Crisciuleddu – very few kilometres from Luogosanto and within an hour’s drive from Olbia toward Sassari – you can admire a majestic cork oak: it is 20 metres high, and its circumference measures almost 4 metres. The oak of Crisciuleddu ranks as a monumental tree: in addition to its impressive size, its age is remarkable, too, since it is a centuries-old cork oak.
