THE ACUTE MOUNT

The historic region of Monte Acuto, whose borders are not clearly defined, is named after a local mountain, which is part of the Mount Limbara complex. On the top, you can explore the ruins of a Medieval castle and older settlements, which date back to the Nuragic and pre-Nuragic civilisations.
The area of Monte Acuto is renowned for its vineyards, as well as for cork and granite manufacturing and carving, and it especially stands out for its handcrafted pattadesas, the traditional knives used by Sardinian shepherds.

This area, rich in traditions, hosts a Medieval castle and some older settlements.
