TAVOLARA ISLAND

Tavolara Island is a majestic rock formation which rises above the sea and creates a chromatic contrast between the blue, light blue, and emerald green of the surrounding water, the green shades of the vegetation, and the colour of its calcareous and granitic rocks. Located in the heart of the marine protected area of Tavolara-Punta Coda Cavallo, it hosts ‘Una Notte in Italia’, the international film festival held every year in July. You can visit the island landing in Spalmatore di Terra, a sandy shore rich in enchanting beaches.

Known as the smallest reign in the world, the island of Tavolara is a marine protected area and a true heaven for scuba divers.
