THE “RESEGONE OF AGGIUS”

At the foot of the ‘Resegone of Aggius’ – characterised by majestic rocks whose unusual shapes have been sculpted by the wind – lies Aggius, famous for its view and awarded the Bandiera Arancione (‘Orange Flag’) by the Italian Touring Club. The ‘Resegone of Aggius’ is rich in nature parks and small lakes, including that of Santa Degna, a charming oasis located in the woods of the same name.
It is also an interesting destination for archaeology enthusiasts thanks to the remains of the so-called tafoni, which offered shelter to prehistoric people.

Famous for its spectacular sunsets, the ‘Resegone of Aggius’ is a granitic mountain chain
whose nickname originates from its jagged profile and recalls the renowned Resegone of
